Boil your pasta according to the package directions on the box, when finished you can set aside. Then you can shred up some of the sharp cheddar cheese and set this aside. Now in a large skillet you can start by melting the butter over medium heat. Then make a roux by adding the flour and mixing until a nice light brown in color. This is when you can add some milk and and whisk them together until there are no lumps and the mixture is thick. Now add some cheese a bit at a time, and mix until all the cheese is melted and a smooth, creamy consistency. Now you can add the cooked pasta, and mix until well coated with the cheese mixture. Add a bit of salt and pepper to taste. Now take the macaroni and cheese mixer and put into a bowl, and place in your refrigerator and refrigerate until cold, approximately one hour. While waiting for your ingredients to chill you can line a baking sheet with some parchment paper.
