If you prefer to make a stabilized whipped cream, you just take 2 teaspoons of unflavored gelatin, place it in a small saucepan with 8 teaspoons of cold water, heat over low until the gelatin dissolves then remove from heat and whip the gelatin slowly into 2 cups heavy whipping cream and 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar. That is all there is to making your whipping cream hold its density longer for some of these desert ideas.
