The ingredients you will need for this bacon cheeseburger bombs recipe include Pillsbury Grands Flaky layers refrigerated original or buttermilk biscuits, lean ground beef, cheddar cheese cut into cubes, and bacon. You will also need some bacon, toothpicks, and some canola oil for frying.
To start separate the dough into 8 biscuits and cut each biscuit in half, and press with hands into circle about 3 inches in diameter. Then in the center of each biscuit round, place some cooked ground beef and 1 cube of cheese. Then wrap the dough to completely enclose the beef and cheese and pinch seams to seal. For the fried version of this recipe, wrap each stuffed bomb with a bacon slice and gently secure the loose bacon with a toothpick by inserting it through bacon and halfway into the bacon bomb. Then bake for approximately 8 minutes to partially cook the bacon. Wrap each stuffed bacon bomb with 1 slice of partially cooked bacon slice. Then place the bacon wrapped dough approximately two inches apart on two aluminum foil-lined cookie pans with dough seam side down. Then bake about 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
