Isn't it nice to have a meal that is just so easy to throw together, and be ready when you need it? Try out this All - In One Pork Chop Dinner Cooked in the Crock Pot, the next time you would like a meal that is ready when you walk in the door from a long day and want a nice home cooked meal like mom used to make. There is something so comforting about eating the foods that we were raised on, its like a certain level of nostalgia is connected with the food and warms our hearts and nourishes our souls to the very core!

This All in One recipe for pork chops and potatoes with corn on the cob! The author of Mommy's Kitchen uses some assorted sized pork chops seasoned up and wrapped in tin foil at the bottom, and then basically just added the potatoes and the corn wrapped in tin foil stacked on top of the pork chops. A great way to make everything in one pot with very little clean up when all is said and done. You could set it up the night before, and put in the fridge to come out and be cooked throughout the day, or you could assemble everything in the morning before you head off for your day!

You would come home to the smells of a home cooked meal, and nothing could really be better when you are just wanting to relax at the end of a long day. Way better than going out for fast food, or getting take out from a restaurant, this meal would be home cooked by you and your crock pot. The other nice thing is, all you would have to clean is the plates you use and the crock pot bowl! Can't get easier than that!

A slow cooker, otherwise known as a Crock-Pot, a trademark that is sometimes used generically in both the United States and Canada, Australia and New Zealand, is a countertop electrical cooking appliance that is used for simmering, which requires maintaining a relatively low temperature (compared to other cooking methods such as baking, boiling, and frying). The slow cooker allows for unattended cooking for many hours of pot roast, stews, soups, boiled dinners and other suitable dishes, including dips, desserts and beverages. Slow cookers are especially useful for busy cooks, that work during the day.

The potato is a starchy, tuberous crop from the perennial nightshade family. In the Andes, where the potato is indigenous there are some other closely related cultivated potato species. Potatoes were introduced outside the Andes region approximately four centuries ago, and have since become an important part of much of the world's food supply. Potatoes are the world's fourth largest food crop, followed by maize, wheat, and rice. Potatoes are often classified as high on the glycemic index and are often excluded from the diets of individuals trying to follow a low GI diet. The GI of potatoes can vary considerably depending on type, preparation methods, whether they are eaten hot or cold.
