Cooking has been an integral part of people's lives all over the world. Because of this, it is just a natural scenario to see a lot of people who are buying some food items they need in the market. The big question now is, did you know that there are 8 vegetables that you can regrow at home? This simply means that you can save a lot of money from buying vegetables over and over again.

1. Cilantro

In order to regrow cilantro, you have to get some of its stems and put them in a glass that contains water. As days go by, roots will come out from the stems and it signals that they are already ready to be planted in the pot. In a few months, you can already harvest them.

2. Romaine Lettuce

Get a container and fill it with water; about 1/2 inch of water. Put romaine lettuce stumps in the container and when the water level goes lower, re-water it. When new leaves and roots emerged, get them from the container and transfer them into the soil so that they will grow fully.

3. Celery

What you need to do here is cut the celery base and put it in a shallow bowl that has a water on it. Make sure that it will get some sunlight regularly. You should then transfer it in the soil when new leaves are already growing.

4. Basil

Get some basil stems; about 3-4 inches long. Put them in a glass of water where sunlight can reach them. You can only plant them in the soil when the roots are already 2 inches long.

5. Carrots

Cut the top part of carrots, and put it in any container with water. Make sure that you will place it in a well-lit room.

6. Bok Choy

Place the root end of Bok Choy in a water-filled container that can be reached by sunlight. Prepare a pot of soil because after one to two weeks, you can already transfer it.

7. Garlic

Garlic will begin sprouting as days go by. When its sprouts are already long, you can place the garlic in a glass filled with a little amount of water. When you cook some dishes like pasta and salads, you can use some of its sprouts and you will love the sprouts' mild flavour for sure.

8. Scallions

Cut the scallions' stems that are nearer to the roots. Afterwards, place them in a glass of water until they develop new leaves. Transfer them to a pot of soil.

These are the list of vegetables that you can regrow at home in order for you to save some money the next time you buy for vegetables.
